Nigerian football star, Henry Onyekuru has joined Tukish club Galatasaray from Everton on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old winger was signed by the Toffees last summer but sent on loan to Anderlecht, where he scored 10 goals in 27 appearances.

Everton will reportedly receive a £700,000 loan fee for the youngster, who has joined up with Galatasaray’s training camp in Switzerland

‘Galatasaray are glad to make the signing of Henry Onyekuru official! Nigerian 21-year old winger is joining us from @Everton on loan,’ the Turkish club Tweeted.

Before his move to Everton, Onyekuru played for Eupen and finished as the joint leading scorer in the Belgian Super League with 22 goals in 38 games.

Everton fought off competition from rivals Arsenal and West Ham to land the striker who they signed in 2017, in a five-year contract until the end of June 2022 .
