Arsenal have reportedly accepted an offer from Portuguese club, Sporting Lisbon for the transfer of their striker, Lucas Perez.
According to Portuguese outlet, A Bola, the North London club have accepted a £4.4million offer for Perez, who is currently in discussions with Lisbon over his potential wage.
The report also claimed that the Gunners’ coach, Unai Emery is not considering the 29 year old as a crucial part of his team this season.
Perez, who joined the Emirates club from Deportivo La Coruna in 2016, suffered from a lack of playing time in his first season.
The Spain international was loaned out to his former employers last season.
He has reportedly been aiming to impress Emery ahead of the new season after arriving back in London, but fellow teammates, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette are expected to be Emery’s first choice this season.
