Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, has said that Alexis Sanchez will respect the club’s decision that he will not be sold this summer.
Sanchez took part in an open training session at the Emirates on Thursday and appeared to kiss the Arsenal badge in front of the cameras and a few thousand fans.
The Chile international returned from an extended break on Tuesday, amid speculations linking him with moves to Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
Bbut Wenger insists the 28-year-old is fully focused on the new season, as he enters the final year of his contract.
“The only thing I can tell you is he is focused. My decision is clear, he will stay and he will respect that. It’s as simple as that,” Wenger told a news conference ahead of Sunday’s Community Shield against Chelsea.
